Well that's the case with StationRipper, a freeware software application that can rip SHOUTcast Internet audio streams into MP3s. Unlike WinAmp plug-ins, that are usually complicated to figure out, StationRipper is a separate application that launches SHOUTcast within the program. All one needs to do is click the "Tune In" button on their favorite Internet radio station and StationRipper goes to work."

This is a nifty little program. StationRipper allows you to record various internet radio stations and create a single MP3 file for each song the station plays. But there is more :). You can record up to 300 streams at one time but then it also lets you buy the music that you have chosen to rip. It allows the user to track all the SHOUTcast stations as well as track the music that one has ripped. There are also some scheduling features built in, and best of all, it is free.
