<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.luminous-landscape.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.luminous-landscape.com/</a><br /><br /></div>"The Luminous Landscape is the web's most comprehensive site devoted to the art of landscape, nature and documentary photography using digital as well as traditional image processing techniques. You will find on these pages instructive feature articles, product reviews, travel and technical discussions, inspiring portfolios, and a Discussion Forum. <br /><br />This site is completely non-commercial. It currently has more than 2,000 pages containing articles, tutorials, product reviews and photographs — all with no commercial advertisements. The site is not affiliated with or beholden to any company or organization."<br /><br />We have already linked to luminous-landscape.com several times here on DMT and you may have all already noticed that the tutorials featured on this site are top notch. This in my opinion sets the site apart from most of the other photography resources I have posted on so far. In addition to reviews, there are essays, tutorials and guides to various photography related topics. One can gain a lot of knowledge about the actual process of taking good pictures as well as post processing of images.

This is definitely my favourite place to hang out and read when I have a few spare minutes (sorry, Jason!). There's a huge collection of articles that are worth reading: pick any of them and you'll learn something.

What I like so much about Luminous Landscape is that it's not your run-of-the-mill "we do reviews" site. Michael writes a lot about photography techniques, which help me get better with the gear I already have. Someday when I have the cash I'll be signing up for his DVDs + back issues, too.

Great site! I previously visited it for the Canon Powershot Pro1 review, but looking around the site, they have so much more good stuff to offer. Very good articles!
