This has got to be one of the dumbest ideas I've heard yet. An MP3 player that downloads music through your cell phone via IR, charges consumers nearly $2.00 per song, takes nearly a minute to download a 30 second preview, and has a hobbled DRM management system? My God, who dreamt that up?

:drinking:

"O2’s new music gadget is far from perfect, however. The interface is something of a hash, especially if you eschew the chart listings for a search by artist or genre, which involves going through a clunky selection process similar to finding a definition in a set of encyclopaedias. Once you’ve found your track, getting hold of it is sluggish – you have to wait about 50 seconds to get a free 30-second preview, and if you opt to download it permanently, you’ll have to wait a good minute in addition to the length of the song."
