Just wondering if anybody has picked it up yet... I probably will pick it up next week when I get my new pbook or ibook. The Developer discounts are great! I originally thought I was going to be making the downgrade from PowerBook to iBook but signed up for student developer the price for the 12" with SuperDrive is only 1,439.00 ! So I may be picking it up to work with my new DVD Studio Pro ...

I was seriously thinking about it, but it is so expensive. I mean, even the upgrade is so expensive :roll:.

Yeah I get Education discounts ( I am a Network Administrator at a k-12 school) so at $250 it's not so bad for the quality of the program especially when you look at Adobe's products.

Me too, I am a student, but it is still too expensive for me :(.

A Powerbook, 15", G4, 1GB RAM (bought it just 3 months ago). However, my sister is currently using it. I should (maybe :), unless she is too addicted to it) getting it back in a couple of months.

Very nice! Well my 15" just sold, I was going to pick up an iBook but I think I will end up with a 12" Powerbook, the new 1.33GHz ones aren't too shabby! ;)

Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking. I need to buy another laptop for my apartment-mate. Something under $1K and something that is less than 4lbs. The iBook might work. What do you think?
