With outstanding cross-product integration and performance enhancements that take advantage of the latest advances in hardware, Adobe's new video line-up also introduces more than 200 innovative new features, including advanced support for high definition (HD) video in Premiere Pro 1.5."

Similar to what Apple did yesterday, Adobe has released a flood of new updates to their major applications. Here are links to the individual press releases:

• Adobe After Effects 6.5 Delivers Powerful New Features and Performance Enhancements
• Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 Takes DVD Authoring to a New Level of Creativity and Efficiency
• Adobe Audition 1.5 Enhances All-in-One Audio Editing and Mixing Solution
• Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 Introduces Powerful New Features and Advanced HD Support

When I first saw Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, I thought it was a typo - I didn't realize they had reset the counter when they released Premier Pro. It's a little odd that they have a new version of Premier Pro out so quickly after 1.0, but the upgrade cost of $99 for 1.0 users is reasonable, and I think they wanted to get it on the high-definition rush and not be left behind.

I'd like to say that I'm excited about all these new announcements, but I don't actually use any Adobe products right now other that Adobe Acrobat. Isn't that odd? I haven't tried any of the latest generation of products, so I probably should to see if they'll win me away from my current tools.

I wonder what the cost of the Collection is. And more so, I wonder if Philip is going to do one of his awesome reviews on this? :)
