Interesting. Not to start the Apple vs Windows bit, but this is really cool from my own personal experiences.

In the last month since buying my new Powerbook, I've upgraded my digital camera and started using it as an artist again--versus as snapshot journalist of life's events, AND just yesterday, I bought my first electric guitar...and I've never played before.

Both of these were inspired by Apple's products and the ease in which they've made trying/getting deeper into music or "film" a reality for the average guy. Of course, this now means my friends and family get to hear really bad guitar as background music to semi-interesting photo slideshows for their Christmas gifts...but what the heck. Beats a sausage log.

I know very little about the products themselves, but Apple is the master of branding - what a fantastic coordinated launch!

Definitely, especially since they also have just announced all their speed upgrades to their hardware units.
