Obviously i'm a new member, enticed to sign up due to the huge giveaways :D . However, i did just recentlly happen buy myself a Canon A80 digital camera.
A great companion to my A80 and it's CF memory is my iPaq 5455 Pocket PC, with a CF sleeve. It's a little easier to view the pictures on my 5455 than on the tiny (and i mean tiny) LCD screen on the A80. I can also transfer pictures to a SD card on my pda if i run out of space on the CF card.
Does anyone else on here use a PDA in conjunction with their camera? Are any of you members of PocketPC Thoughts?

Unfortunately both my cameras use CF, so I'm out of luck when it comes to using it with my iPAQ 4150. I'm hoping that next go-round things will get in sync. ;-)

I tried it with an iPAQ 3660 just for fun when I had a 995, but due to its 12bit screen, it wasn't very good. And boy did it take ages to load...

Things are much, much better now. :-)

Now who was the guy at Sony that decided to make memorysticks the Sony standard? (economic genious.....technical blunder)Unfortunatly all PDAs that I've owned in conjunction with my digi-camera have been either HP or Toshiba, so I guess no convinient solutions for me

unfortunately, my 5455 is going downhill. i'll have to give up this convenience and make a trip to compUSA to implement the TAP i bought. i'll see what the folks at PPCThoughts have to say
