Theoretically this is a wonderful idea, but practically it has a way to go. So far the cameras on the phones don't take sharp enough pictures, and the printing results reflect that. The printers also don't work with very many phones right now.

[The printer is] the HP Deskjet 450wbt (pictured below). This small mobile printer was launched in October. It has a wireless connection that uses the Bluetooth standard, which can transfer data at a megabyte a second to devices in a 10-meter range. It has a battery that charges in an hour and a half and lasts for 350 page prints, so you can take it on the road with your camera phone. You can also print from a phone to HP's Deskjet 995CK model."

Wow, finally a bluetooth device that makes sense ;-). Although they are right about the fact that cameraphones don't take very hi-res photos so we will have to wait for a little bit. "Over time, the resolution of the camera phones will improve. In Japan, 2-megapixel camera phones will go on sale this year, and in all other regions 1-megapixel phones will be available." But it is nice to know that there is a portable wireless printer that would help in this field. I can see this being fantastic at parties/picnics for kids.
