The new DuoCam VP-D6050i improves on the swivel lens design by incorporating dedicated DV and DSC lenses in one body. The new design offers a more compact package, similar in size to other Mini DV camcorders, but packs all the features consumers have come to expect from individual DV camcorders and DSCs."

The VP-D6050i, instead of trying to capture videos and photos with the same lens, actually has two separate lenses, one each for recording video and for capturing 5MP still images. The camera is designed to be operated in both modes without any sort of swivel mechanism, as the picture above shows. And it will support Memory Stick, MMC and SD. Wow 8O :)
