I have a HP 932c printer. and have been using the HP premium paper for photos.
i will eventually get a proper printer for printing pictures but for now this is all i have.
not bad but i was wondering if this is the best. what paper have you had teh best results from and do you think you need to stick with the brand of your printer for you paper?

Are Ilford papers available in your area? I've seen some really nice results from them, and have a couple of friends who swear by them.

Eh, link doesn't work. Anyway, the ones that I've seen are on the Smooth Gloss and Smooth Pearl paper.

I tend to use Epson and Canon paper myself - been meaning to try out some Ilford paper, heard very good things about it...

I bought this big 50 pack of IBM 4x6 photo paper many months ago, and I'm still using it - I know, you're thinking "IBM? What the heck?" - but the paper is quite good. It's not "hyper glossy" like some others, so it results in more subtle prints. I quite like it. :-)
I have SO much photo paper it's sick.

I use http://www.redriverpaper.com with my Canon and Epson printers. The Kodak paper has gotten very poor reviews over the past year on most digital websites so I've stayed away from it. The Canon/Epson paper always gets the highest reviews of the common available brands across the country and the Red River stuff is just as good.

I picked up some Ilford Smooth Gloss Paper at Sams Club the other day. 100 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 for $24.
This is every bit as good (if not better) than the Canon Premium at 3 times the cost for my Canon I960 printer.
Wish I could get it in 4x6 size as cheaply.
I've had no luck with Kodak or HP paper on this printer. Someone told me the Epson paper works well but I haven't tried it.
