The smaller the better, as long as they can do everything I need. These little PCs are aimed more at industrial/corporate uses rather than consumer, and they have the prices to match, but it's cool to see what they've come up with. They have fanless units, units with PCI slots, and specialty units with integrated CF or PCMCIA slots.<br /><br />Me, I'll stick with my Shuttle units or another consumer device, but gosh these are tiny! :D

Personally, I'd love a small, dedicated video editing machine, but small physical size doesn't mean small CPU horsepower, does it?

Nope, not at all - about the only thing it can limit is the number of hard drives, which impacts your RAID options, and also the optical drive choices (ie: you can usually only fit one). But in terms of raw processing power, as long as the smaller machines support modern technologies (ie: 800 mhz bus speeds, etc.) then you should have no issues.
