What's the general consensus of DVD video camera?
I just looked at Sony's new DVD201 handycam. It says up to 520 lines of resolution which is the max for miniDV too right? I was just wondering because it seems like a DVD cam might be nice for cost of disks vs. cost of tapes and instant transfer to pc. Would this be hard to edit though if it records in a DVD format?
Any opinions would be great.
