is there some way to convert a quicktime video to one of the windows media formats? (avi, mpg, mpeg, wmv, asp)
my digital camera takes short (60 sec) videos and i want to be able to edit them in Windows Movie Maker.
I also would prefer to do this for free if possible.

Thanks!

I suppose that quicktime pro will let you convert to a more open media format...other than that I will let the gurus answer this one

i found a program taht only costs $25 so i got that.
Called Video Cleaner by River Past.

now my problem ois the video i am editing is too blue, but Microsoft Movie maker dosnt do white balance, by the looks of it. is this true!? something so basic is missing?!

thanks for the help.

Apple's DVD Studio Pro comes to mind right away, but I think you are looking for a Windows program, right?

Ahh, found one - Sonic's DVD Fusion. I think that will do what you want.

Thanks!
I am looking for a windows software package, and according to thier website, that is for mac.
Also, i really want something that is cheap or free.
I used to have Adobe Premier 5 (given to me through school) but i cant find the darn thing...I'll have to look harder.
