It survived just fine through two weeks of testing, but we can't say how well it would hold up over several months. Not that I need to defend Jason, but I think he was kidding. I don't think there is a single one of us that hasn't use an electronic product that wasn't made in Taiwan. Clearly the manufacturing is top-notch since companies keep going to have stuff made there. :)
