Hi,

Could somebody give me information on a good PCI card under $100.00 to watch and maybe record tv programs on my computer?

Thanks... :D

Ahh, for under $100, you could get the ATI 128MB All-In-Wonder RADEON 8500 4X/PRO. It is a few generations old (i.e. came before the 9700 and the 9800) but it was an excellent card and will do what you want. And the All-In-Wonders have a TV tuner built in. Very solid cards. I highly recommend these.

Make sure to get a big monitor so you dont have to squit at your movies from up close. A big HD will help too if you are going to use your pc as a DVR

I think getting a big monitor and HD would make the sub-$100 constraint a moot point.

Now that we're on this subject, does anyone know of any good USB or PCMCIA based ones? :?

For the Canadians here... London Drugs has the ATI TV Wonder Pro Remote Control Edition for 99.99....regular 149.99 but with a $50.00 instant rebate.
A price match at Staples may drop it lower. I am going to check.
