Yahoo has you covered, or soon will. In a move to compete more heavily with Google, Yahoo plans to enhance its search services by integrating media search into the framework, which will allow users to more easily find audio and video files online, and have access to more content. This actually sounds quite useful. I've had many problems in the past with finding a specific media file. Google does a decent job, but its search algorithms aren't designed specifically for media file strings. :(<br /><br /><br />Of course, Yahoo and Google are not the only two companies working to advance searching. Microsoft is preparing its own in-house search engine, which it plans to unveil in the not too distant future.
