Hey Jason, once subscription is available, can we expect the same great contests and giveaways and discounts and such that we get as PPCT subscribers?

Yes, absolutely. :-) Although I have to admit, trying to come up with discounts and whatnot isn't quite as easy as it is for PPCT - in the digital media field, the vendors tend to be much bigger and trying to encourage discounts is proving to be a little more challenging. But I'll do my best! :D

And I guess everything is most likely more expensive in the Digitmal Media world, there isn't a bunch of $5 pieces of software like "NotesToday" you can give away can you?
-Justin.
BTW, Jason, where is your cool avatar you said you have chosen?

Good point. Though, seeing the trends on both PPCT and SPT, I am guessing that Jason will try his best to have as many give-aways as possible :). I do have to say that it is probably highly dependant on how successful the site is, sponsors and subscribers.

Good question.. lotsa people are asking ;-)

I think Martha Stewart worked hard to get where she is, she was only torn down by the evil of today's media and press!
Go Martha!

And the greed that comes with lots of money. She used to be a stock broker, if I recall correctly. She know's better.

I am neither for nor against Martha Stewart , but I just find it interesting how this thread went from a question about subscriber services on DMT to her and her recent run in with the law.
Anyways, bringing things back to subscriber services, the last I spoke with Jason, he assured me that he was working hard towards this and it should be available soon.

topic morphing is baffling sometimes... funny to see a thread go from point A to point C without even going through point B's neighborhood. As the membership of this site grows we may need a "community moderator" like PPCT has on its staff to keep us all on topic.
and back to subscription... again... I imagine its something that Jason would want to have ready to go when DMT officially launches. We should all remember that even though we've been posting a lot over the last few days, getting to know each other and such, that this site has only just barely soft-launched. Lots and lots to look forward to!
Jason, any thoughts on cross-subscription discounts on ThoughtsMedia sites? Like knock a buck or two off if you subscribe to 2 out of 3, knock off 5 if you subscribe to all 3, somethin' like that?

Well, let's see....how about poor, over-worked Kati and Steven (from PPT)? Jason could double their salary to incent them! :D

Hmm, Jason will have to double up on his gratitude :razzing: :razzing: (ok, I am just being silly now)

Unfortunatly, I don't think Jason telling Steven & Kati that he's raising their salary 100% will even trick them... they're pretty clever.
However, if he wants to pay me, I can probably devote my life to moderating. Sure its tough, but I enjoy challenges and really have no other important things to do...
