HTC S710 (Vox) MAX micro sd query

Hey, does anyone know if the HTC S710 can take more than the advertised 2gb capacity micro sd card? Has anyone tried bigger cards? Is it likely there would be an update to the firmware in the future to allow larger capacities.? Just love the phone but if I can't jam more tunes on it I may have to look elsewhere...or not. Just being greedy! Thanks in advance.

Sorry, no luck. It won't see any of the HC cards. :( And I wouldn't count on a Firmware update. It's too new to see that happen anytime soon.

I bit the bullet and bought a 4gb microsd card and sho'nuff the sucker was recognized and works great in my S710...although I had access to only 3.8gb for my music...next I'm gonna try a Sandisk 6gb mwuahaha.
