Insurance RANT

After purchasing a pair of moto Q9h's from ATT ($100 ea after rebates) - I went back to clarify some part of the contract, and the sales person -- said oh -- I just saved you $10/month by dropping the insurance change --- But I want insurance, my current phone a 2125 has lasted 2yrs ok, but in the same time my daughter went thru ~5 phones (non-WM).

ATT (or their insurance provider) won't insure phones over $350 -- too much insurance fraud -- I wouldn't mind if it was just damage and not loss. But to have no insurance is going to be tough on my daughter....... Are other providers making the same limitation????

Sprint doesn't have that limitation - you can insure anything from a Razr to a Mogul for $4 or $7 a month.

Do you have homeowners or renters insurance? Your phone should be covered under that, but check with your insurance company to be sure. My renters insurance covers all my electronic devices (and I have many!)
