More useful and easier for all your daily needs? Look at this program. It displays all information in one conveniently screen. It simulates rich Windows VistaTM interface in a small screen of mobile device, including Sidebar. This program was designed for Microsoft Smartphone devices with landscape screens, basically. There are lots of reasons to try it on other phone devices with Windows Mobile system. Specially, because it uses hardware keys instead of touch-sensitivity screen for daily operating. And YES! It's freeware in base functionalities, forever.&quot;</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1196273447.usr11642.jpg" border="1" alt="" /></p><p>Do you like the Vista look? I haven't tried this but it does look nice. JGUI let's you have a Vista type interface on your smartphone. It appears as though it has functionality as well as good looks. If you've already tried this or are thinking about trying it now, let us know how you like it. Does it interfere with anything else? The basic version is free and prices go up from there. <br /></p>

I love my Blackjack II but I would like the ability to modify the Today screen far more than ATT allows. So I was very interested in this program. I downloaded it and it installed even though during the process I got two error messages that the program wouldn't work "with this version of Windows Mobile." It seemed to work fine. The unregistered version allows several modifications of the interface, but not nearly as much as if you buy the program. I noticed one flaw- the program reported I had missed phone calls even when I hadn't. It was counting e-mail messages received via xPress Mail as missed phone calls. When I went online with IE or MobiTV or XM Radio while the program was running I was getting stuttering video and audio and delays from IE. To check this, I deleted the program and reran all three of these programs and the hesitations ended. I like the appearance of the program and the flexibility it offered, but I am not sure I will reinstall it if it is going to cause multimedia problems. I don't think I need a wholesale change in the appearance of the Today screen to be happy. I would just like to be able to change the order the items appear or drop those I don't use.

Does the Blackjack 2 actually lock you out of Home Screen editing? I would doubt it. You should look into just editing your existing home screen or finding a theme out there with the required plugins that make it look like you want... This site has a forum on it "customizations" as well as many other sites(everythingQ comes to mind - it will be the same as the screen layouts are the same) and with a little bit of XML editing and one or two plugins you can make it do about anything you want.... or remove the ones you dont use quite easily....

Hi Randalllewis :)

I kind of feel stupid (or weird) recommending you to try one of our applications, but I read your reply and I think you might want to check out Facade, I think it might meet the features you are looking for :)

You can read more about Facade and download a trial version from our web-site at the following URL:
http://www.sbsh.net/products/facade/

Further more, and also the main reason why I was thinking it might fit your needs, you should definitely check out the Facade resources. You will find amazing amount of different Facade Home screen layouts available for free download and I'm almost sure you will find a layout that you like here :)

http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showforum=57

(and you can always switch layouts frequently)

I hope that this helps :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never edited XML before. I remember earlier WM smartphones (MMx220 for example) that allowed lots of customization of the Home Screen in the Settings menu. ATT or WM6 does not, not sure who is responsible. But with a little searching, I found XML Notepad and slowly figured out how to edit the home screen options AND get them to work too. I now am enjoying the customization I wanted.
