New Zune Cradle Has Component Out

I'm not convinced the component out it's going to make a significant difference given the input quality restrictions of the Zune (resolution and bit rate), but it's great to see the Zune being competitive with other media players out there on the market. Look for me to talk about this component out in my review of the new <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/zunethoughts-20/detail/B000VWOKQM/104-3257433-8104757" target="_blank">Zune A/V Pack v2</a> [affiliate], provided to me by the Zune team.

You are mistaken Jason. The new Zunes 80 will play and holdv ideos with DVD quality.

The component outputs have been discussed on various Zune forums and as well as Media Center community site TheGreenButton.com. It has alot of Media Center users excited by its prospects. With a little imagination, you can see there is potential to create a basic media extender for Media Center. We'll have to see where Zune/Media Center teams take this.
