<p>Day number 2 with the Shadow comes to a close and I'm forced to pack it up&nbsp;and return it. I'm actually a little sad to see it go.&nbsp; While it doesn't sport GPS, or 3G, it's fast and small and fun to use.&nbsp; The new home screen is great and I can't wait to see what the community can do with it.&nbsp; I snapped some pictures with the camera and found that it was a little awkward to use.&nbsp; It's positioned at the top on the back of the device.&nbsp; So when the device is open, it's actually in the middle of the phone.&nbsp;I ended up getting a picture of my finger more than once.&nbsp; I expect that this is something that you would get accustom to over time. </p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/spt/auto/1194835262.usr3.jpg"><img alt="" border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1194835306.usr3.jpg" /></a></p><p>I've posted a number of pictures showing the Shadow along side the Dash and the Vox (s710).&nbsp; You can click on any of the images and see a full size copy of it.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><div style="PAGE-BREAK-AFTER: always"><span style="DISPLAY: none">&nbsp;</span></div><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I would be more than happy to add this device into my pool of phones.&nbsp; It's worth every penny. Let me know if you have any questions.&nbsp; While I don't have the device any longer, it won't be a problem to answer questions. </p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/spt/auto/1194835531.usr3.jpg"><img alt="" border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1194835553.usr3.jpg" /></a></p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/spt/auto/1194835639.usr3.jpg"><img alt="" border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1194835656.usr3.jpg" /></a></p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/spt/auto/1194835739.usr3.jpg"><img alt="" border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1194835769.usr3.jpg" /></a></p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/spt/auto/1194835860.usr3.jpg"><img alt="" border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1194835876.usr3.jpg" /></a></p>

While i agree that the camera can be cumbersome to use while the phone is open, try closing the keyboard and turning the phone on its side, now you've got a traditional camera orientation with the snapshot button uptop and the lens on the other side. Pretty clever idea if you ask me :-)

Nice pics! Looks like a cool phone. I'll probably stay with my trusted Dash for a while but it's good to know some quality devices are coming out.

Yeah, that's a pretty nice way to do it. I've spent years getting used to using a camera phone by holding it one way. I can't change my ways over night. ;)

why did you return? was it primarily because of the camera?

I didn't return it - it was a loaner device, sent to me for review. I had to send it along to the next reviewer. Would I buy one? Sure would.
