The smartphone vendor is actively pursuing candidates to replace Achilles, said Jason Gordon, an HTC spokesman. Achilles was not immediately available for comment on his reasons for leaving HTC, which in partnership with Microsoft Corp. has become one of the leading purveyors of innovative smartphones running the Windows Mobile operating system."</em></p><p><img alt="" border="0" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/500/spt/auto/1190381855.usr3.jpg" /></p><p>I don't expect this to make a difference in the direction or momentum of HTC in the Americas I'm sure that HTC HQ is watching closely and everyone knows there job I can't imagine that it's like high school when the teacher doesn't show up for class. Anyway, if any of you are looking for a job... Oh wait, I'm looking for a job. Maybe I should apply. I'm sure I could come up with a couple things that HTC needs to do better in the Americas. What would you change about the HTC Americas branch?</p>
