Pharos GPS Phone 600

I'm in the market for a new smart phone. I am currently with Verizon. I don't like any of the smart phones they offer. The new Q is not my type at all...I li ke the Pharos because it has everything. It is sold unlocked. Does anyone know if it will work on the Verizon network? Anyone have experience using the this phone? If not, what is a comparible smart phone?

You're kind of out of luck. If you don't like the phones that Verizon are offering, then you're only choice is to switch to a different carrier. Verizon uses CDMA as their network and as such, you can't buy a third party unlocked phone to use on that network. 3rd Party CDMA phones are no where to be found because the CDMA carrier (Verizon in this case) will not activate the phone on their network.

That's the beauty of GSM. You don't need the carrier to do anything, just swap your SIM into your new GSM phone and away you go! :D
