<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://joyoftech.com/joyoftech/index.html' target='_blank'>http://joyoftech.com/joyoftech/index.html</a><br /><br /></div>I tend not to post many of the Zune parodies because they're usually shoddy and idiotic, but this one today on <a href="http://joyoftech.com/joyoftech/index.html" target="_blank">Joy of Tech</a> gave me a chuckle.<br /><br /><img border="1" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com//zt/auto/1189542298.usr1.gif" alt="" /><br /><br />They also have a survey on the page entitled <em>How would you save the Zunes?</em> Here are the survey choices:<br /><ul> <li>Set up Zune Reserves and breeding programs, ... Zunes breeding? Ewwwww!</li> <li>Hit up Bill Gates for a donation, ... it's next on his list after malaria.</li> <li>I'm donating my $100 Apple Store credit, ... that's kinda like fighting Global Warming with SUVs.</li> <li>Extinction is natural, let them fade away, ... but what if it's like Star Trek IV, and a giant space Zune comes to Earth, and calls out to the Zunes, and doesn't hear anything, then starts blasting the planet?</li> <li>Head shot, right through the back of the screen, ... it's the humane thing to do.</li> <li>Get Angelina Jolie to adopt one, ... it creeps me out to think of the two of them together.</li> <li>I'm thinking to myself, Save the Zune? That might actually work!<br /> </li></ul>With 1600 votes so far, the leading contender with 35% of the vote is the "Head shot" option. I'm not that surprised, probably a bunch of iPod users. ;-) Me, I'm voting for the option that isn't there: "Release version 2.0 and make it killer." Here's hoping...
