Or maybe Amazon has let it slip early, who knows. Either way, it's good news for us. There's not much in the way of specs listed on Amazon and I can't find any mention of it on AT&T's site. I like the looks and dual slider setup. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't let you buy this phone outright so I don't know what the base cost of the phone is. It's listed as $179 with a service contract. That seems like a really good price to me!

So, Amazon claims to have them for sale...butAT&T has never heard of them (online or calling customer sales). What gives? Also, does anyone know the real dimensions of this beast?

It's not uncommon at all for ATT emplyees to be clueless about new phones just after they're released.
However, this one has slipped up on quite a few people in the know. It'll be interesting to see if Amazon keeps this advertisment up on their site. If it's the real deal, it should hit ATT or ATT Premier next week.

Keep us posted! I've got a friend that's in the market for a new Smartphone and I think this would be just what he needs. I wonder how long before I could get it unlocked.

I must have missed it the first time but the Amazon site now says "Ships in 2 - 4 weeks" which doesn't sound like it is in stock either. Might explain AT&T cluelessness.
I've been salivating over the AT&T Tilt, but this one might just upstage it for me. Granted, no WiFi or touch screen, but a few sites have listed it (closed) at 86mm x 48mm x 18mm, which would make one sweet device. Actually, not much bigger (when closed) than my wife's 3125...very tempting.

Ouch. That's not good. :(
Engadget is saying 10/1 for release of this thing. I have a VOX, but the bigger screen on the Pantech, plus 3G is very interesting to me. Want to see it in person.

I'm digging the whole dual slider setup. I'm can text pretty fast using T9 and I'm also pretty speedy on a tiny QWERTY keypad. This is the best of both worlds for me :D

I love the vox but the processor is definitely a drawback -- especially when switching from landscape to portrait... PLEASE tell me it's not in the 200MHZ range -- does anyone know? I've searched the web but can't find the processor speed?
