As many of you are already aware, this is a small handset with a traditional 12 button keypad on the face of the device. It also slides open to the side revealing a full QWERTY keyboard. This is the second release for the Libra in Canada. Telus managed torelease their version of this phone back in June of this year. The Vox/Libra have yet to be picked up by a US-based carrier. However, there is talk that AT&T might be picking it up. But for now, if you like this devie you either have to get an HTC branded (non-subsidized) version or move to Canada and pick one of the CDMA carriers.

It does. And your's unlike this one, has WiFi. But in the CDMA world, you have to take what you're offered. There's no choice outside of the operators world.

Verizon, Verizon where art thou Verizon? - get thee off thine butt and into the game!
augh...
Cool device - sigh - sadly it will be months (if ever) before I see this on Verizon.
Man I so like the user friendly GSM world where you can select your own device regardless of carrier (so long as it is GSM) but I do like the reliabilty (coverage) of CDMA - Verizon specifically and the data speed is great as well. If only those CDMA guys would be able to allow us "pwoer" users to buy CDMA phones and get them configured for their network...
Alas - I wait. I heard October for the 6800 now - ugh.
