Its a way of accessing content services on your mobile device like you've never before experienced. Using Viigo, you have instant access to Breaking News, Sports, Entertainment, Weather, Markets, Blogs, or any RSS Feed you want, at the touch of a button on your Windows Mobile Smartphone device. Always live, always on, always available."

I tried Viigo tonight and so far the pros outweigh the cons. First of all it's free and that includes free from ads as well. I like that. I also like the interface, it's nice to look at. Another plus is that is has auto updates that update in as little as one hour increments. Very cool for a free program. I do wish it had more channels programmed initially. I spent some time adding in my newsfeeds. They have a weather feed but I wish it could give me the current temp and perhaps a three day forecast from the first page I click on instead of having to go from one page to another. Overall I think it's a free winner. A slight warning: while this has been out for the Blackberry for a while, it is in beta for Windows Mobile but so far I haven't encoutered any bugs. I was using the free version of NewsCopier but since they charge now, this may be my new RSS feeder. Do you use a newsfeeder? If so, which one and do you like it?

I'm using SBSH's NewsBreak, but now I'll give a try to this too.;)

I use NewsBreak, not free of course, but I'll give this one a try. Always looking for something better. :)

Edit: Looks like .NET v2 is required. Not sure if I want to install all of that for this app -- will see...

Just a clarification, Ilium Software makes NewsBreak, not SBSH.

I installed NETCF V2 SP2 and got Viigo to start up. It then downloaded the default set of feeds. I could open a feed category, but as soon as I open an individual feed, the program exits. Looks like it's not quite ready yet...

I use MobiAtom for RSS. It's pretty new, but seems pretty solid. It is free and has a different site for mobile and regular sized browsers, and it keeps you synched as you switch between the two whether you're using your home computer or your smartphone.

OK...here's a feature that is uber cool. Please keep in mind I only use "uber" for really special things! ;)

When you're reading an article in the newsreader, hit the MENU soft key and you will notice there is an option of "Full Article" or "Open in Browser." Select Full Article. It opens the article in Viigo and strips the graphics. It loads the article really fast....Uber cool! :)

installed on my HTC Touch. Didnt really like the way it looked. Fonts looked odd. Or maybe just odder than I'm used to in other apps.

Didnt load an OPML file...but read the included Engadget feed...

...may be a preference thing but it wasnt for me.

I am a NewsBreak fan but am currently using NewsGatorGo because it sysnce with FeedDemon as well as the Online version...so I can read wherever I am, PC or phone...and not read the same stuff twice.

The only thing I dont like about NewsGatorGo is that it doesnt have AutoSync....it's always a manual effort. Come to think of it...I may switch to newsBreak again. :D

For on the go, I like to sync my feeds with my desktop. So it's NewsGator for me. Although, to be honest, I haven't actually installed it in a little while. I'm holding off on making any major changes until I flash my BlackJack with the new ROM - Expected in a couple weeks. (I've been holding off for far too long. )
