Looks like they're focusing on the fact that the new MotoQ9s are "multimedia-centric," which I'm all for. On the left we see the Verizon-red Motorola Q9M (arriving Aug 20th?) and on the right the Motorola Q9H (presumably on it's way to AT&T Aug 24th). The "M" is for "Music" and the "H" is for "HSDPA," if we're right about that sort of thing. I do notice that the Q9M and the Q9H are actually far more different from each other than I'd expected - different shapes around the edges, different screen placement, different keyboard buttons even."

Yes I know they have new features but I still say Motorola is way late to the party. I guarantee you in a short while we will see these things in designer colors as well. I can't wait to see the "Mystery Q".

Have also read about the Q9C -- a CDMA version without the multimedia. Maybe it's the CDMA version of the H. This would be of great interest to me as I am not really interested in the multimedia aspect of the M.

This is were things really start to get messy for Moto. There's too many differnent version of this now. 9m, 9h, and 9c. I thought the 9h was CDMA - that's verizon's phone right? and they're CDMA. Argh, Moto - you have to make this more clear to the customer.

the mystery Q's might be those fancy MPx220's in a new body ;)

I don't see how the Q9h would be mistaken as a CDMA version when the "h" would be for HSDPA. If anything Verizon should have done Q9E for EvDO, but the Q9m for multimedia, ok, the Q9C for what corporate. In any case my current Moto Q is just fine, BUT, hello Verizon charging much more for a rehashed current gen Q with a new body and WM6 is plain stupid and so are the masses signing up. I'm jumping ship for the better of the two Q's or a tale of two Q's as it were. Less memory is a huge issue.

Now for Moto Q have 5 different models not a big deal , how many iPods are there.

I like to take every opportunity possible to remind Motorola of the MPx220, it keeps them on their toes! ;)
