V2R Active UI is the first fully graphical animated user interface (GUI) for the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6 platform. V2R's Active UI platform has been designed in a way to ensure, that the user may use the device quick and easy in the most intuitive and convenient way."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/paxton-Carousel-071507.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Seems like everyone wants to jump on the visual UI bandwagon. I haven't tried this one myself but if you're looking to give your smartphone a new look, V2R's SAMs Carousel may be what you're looking for. If you do give it a spin, be sure and let us know what you think? Could this be the app to satisfy your envy thirst for the i-whatever?

Hello,
I have used the one on PPC.
Looks nice and brings a different (read great) look to your phone.
It works fine, no delays or hicups.
The problem I noticed with all V2R UI is they lack custom application.
You cannot creat additional shortcuts for your favourite applications.
I think this is a real drowback.

I signed up for he download, and got an email telling me where to download the .CAB file. I put it on my Dash, ran the .CAB, and restarted my phone when prompted on the screen. I couldn't find the program anywhere. There was a /Program Files/V2R folder and a couple sub-folders with theme files, but no executable file. Nothing under the Home Screen options, either. Oh well. I was just trying it out of curiosity, anyway.

In order to make the bundle, which is only an add on to the Active UI, work you need to install Active UI for Pocket PC or for Smartphone first.

Thann it works pretty good. 8)

The program name is ActiveUI and should be in your start menu. Kinda looks like a triangle or Star Trek symbol. It should be one of the first apps after the default ones. After you open the program you cycle through the options w/in the program. BTW I didn't care too much for the app.

I installed the app with the default icons, etc, and didn't like it. Went back and requested the caurosel ui, which looks pretty neat. I the website said I would recieve an email with the location of the newer ui, but nothing almost 24 hours later.
