HTC to Acquire Dopod Assets

Having owned several HTC devices I wonder what effect this may or may not have on quality, which I feel has slipped as of late. This will apparently only affect the Asian market.

Interesting. I'm not sure I agree with a lot of what HTC has been up to as of late. I don't think it was wise to launch the HTC brand in the consumer market. I think they ended up in the bad books with some of their customers. This just doesn't help either. It would have been better to sell under a different name, IMHO.
