In the last prizefight, the fresh and svelte Samsung BlackJack marched into the ring, and after five dirty rounds, handed the aging Q its walking papers. Since then, the BlackJack has enjoyed a great deal of fame and admiration from a crowd of mobile professionals, but as we all know, when you're at the top, there's always someone who wants to knock you down. Enter the RIM BlackBerry 8800. Sporting a new, polished body and bulked up with multimedia capabilities, the 8800 wants to prove it's more than a one-trick pony. Can it take down the seasoned BlackJack?"

Initially I wanted to discuss the results of this CNET prize fight, but decided that I should not spoil the climax. Instead I want to focus the attention on Round 2. I was expecting this round, titled "Navigation," to be based on the menu navigation and ease with which the common tasks can be carried out; an area where lot of reviewers feel that BlackBerry has an edge because it requires fewer clicks and is more intuitive. But was surprised to find that the reviewers discussed the hardware aspects of the navigation, that is the keyboard and the trackball/trackpad. :? Am I the only one who thinks this is odd?

I'd take the Blackjack hands down.

I'd take the Blackjack hands down.

 I couldn't agree more! Of course, I would hope that most of our readers feel the same way. 8)
