I'm willing to bet that a lot of people don't know what cricket is.

Well, I'm standing by Australia, but I guess there might be a bit of bias involved. ;)

Go Black Caps. Didn't realize you were from down under Darius, I promise I won't mention a certain 1981 ODI.... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underarm_bowling_incident_1981)

Well my heart is with the Kiwi's, but if I had to put money on a team it would be the Aussies. Still their have been some upsets of late so who knows.

I am pretty impressed with the teams from Ireland and Bangladesh. I had pretty much stopped following cricket but the recent turn of events - Ireland's victory over Pakistan and the stunning win by Bangladesh against India.

I rooting am for India. Though their recent performance against Bangladesh has almost put the Indian team out of contest for the Super Eight round.

:rotfl:

I didn't know about this incident. Wow! Pretty sneaky. I think I would give full points to Aus, no matter what anyone says. It was creative and a totally defensive move. :)

Quick update - I am now expecting Australia to win. And rooting for the Bangladesh team, the team is full of enthusiastic and spirited youngsters; they make the perfect underdog team.
