Excuse my ignorance but since i m new tothese will i be able to upgrade my old qtek8310 windows 5.0 smartphone to the new wm6.0 software?

Unlikely. Upgrades have to be tailored to a specific device, and neither any of the leaked ROMs nor any of the announced upgrades are targeted at the 8310.
