For 29.95USD it is not cheap but it does a lot. It has a 30 day trial and is well worth a look.

I used to use this with Palm OS and it was great for editing on the go. I've downloaded the trial and it is working well on my smartphone and PPC. It's well worth a try!

I've been using the preview version for a few weeks now and it's great. Very fast and functional. So what features will WM6 mobile office have? Do I buy Dataviz or wait for WM6? I wonder how much $$$ WM6 will be?

I believe you are a Dash user, so for you it will be a free upgrade. It will be available in Q2 on T-Mobile's Web site.

What if you have an unlocked HTC S620? Will that also be a free WM6 upgrade from the T-Mobile site or unlikely?

Wish I knew the answer.

I am in a similar boat. I have a Dash, which I am using on Cingular network; I don't know if T-Mobile will force users to login to their site to access the download, which I won't be able to. :-(

I'm assuming that if users were made to login, someone would upload to an ftp server and it would quickly spread

I am also assuming the same. ;-)

I am running the demo of this software and it works great. However being a Dash owner, I am going to wait for WM6.
These guys should have announced this software availibity early last week and they would have gotten a few more sales that WM6 is now going to take away. I've been waiting for the prices to come out, and to be honest, $30.00 is less than I thought it was going to be.
If I didn't own a Dash, I'd be all over this.

I've been using it since the demo was released (and was a long time user on Palm) and it has always been a better implementation than any version of Pocket/Mobile Office. I don't know if that will be the case with WM6, but with the exception of Dash owners, I've not heard of another WM5 device that has or plans an upgrade to WM6. Given that the Blackjack (my current device of choice) has been as low as $99 with two year contract lately, I'd bet Samsung and Cingular will push a BlackJack V2 out the door this year with the "brand new" WM6 before they'd do an upgrade. More $$$ for the corporate coffers.

If it turns out this is better than the upcoming buitins it might still be worth the price then.

I am running the demo version on my Blackjack and it is painfully slow loading. Once the document is loaded is runs OK. Anyone have that experience??

I'm running the application and documents from a memory card....

Is that the case regardless of the document size?

Opening a blank doc is really fast. I haven't tried it with a long doc.

This is true!
If it is a whole lot better than the built in... then 30 bucks ain't squat!
