As if we didn't all live through enough grief with Y2K, DST2007 is right around the corner. For those of you unfamiliar with the situation:
In August of 2005 the United States Congress passed the Energy Policy Act, which changes the dates of both the start and end of daylight saving time (DST). When this law goes into effect in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November) than what had traditionally occurred.
Despite the law having been passed in August of 2005, I hadn't heard about this until a couple of weeks ago. I decided to investigate and found that Microsoft has been preparing. They describe a very complicated solution here:

I was very interested in understanding how this would affect my Blackjack given its need to interact with the Exchange server. The bottom of the article at the above link looks like this is going to wreak havoc on worldwide Exchange based scheduling. I then decided to apply the patch to my Blackjack using the information found here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923953
Unfortunately, it requires modification of a bunch of registry settings that don't already exist on my device. :x Has anybody applied this patch? Does anybody care?
