How have you found it? Any bugs or issues?

I've been using v2 for a few days (never did use v1) and I never realised how much I wanted this sort of thing.

There are times that it gets annoying, when you're driving for example, but on the whole I really like it.

Having a different DontForget reminder tone to your regular message/alert tones is a good idea IMO, I keep thinking "I'll get that email later" when it's actually a missed call alert or something. When I get 5 minutes I'll get around to changing my tones.

No bugs or issues that I've found - just set it up and (ironically) forget about it.

The biggest thing missing for me in WM Smartphone edition is REPEATING reminders. I have been using this product for a few weeks now, and find it absolutely essential. Although I do not use all of it's features, the repeating reminders really help me, and when you couple it with AutoFlight and the WM built in "Automatic" profile switching, they become the most useful set of tools on my Smartphone. Now if only they could get the LED's to work like the PPC edition, it would be perfect!!
Come on Microsoft - even my old dumbphones had a built in repeating reminder.......

No bugs found on my Blackjack or 3125 in the 2.0 issue.

This is one of those programs that should have been in the WM5 software when it was released. Why does Microsft not think of these things???

Nice program but I seem to have a quirk in mine. The software will look for .wav files to play as the reminder sound. So for the heck of it I selected the dogbark.wav file that was one of several found. Instead of playing that file, the software plays the sound of a ringing telephone. I tried selecting the file a couple of times but it still plays the ringing phone. But, other than that it works fine.

In order to clear this please, visit the DontForget Support Page (http://blog.softimage.cz/?page_id=84) and leave a message there.
And please do an export of the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SoftImage\DontForget" registry key-branch from your device,
include device type, and send it to me via e-mail hujer(at)softimage.cz.

I stumbled across this recently and have been using it to switch to the Silent profile at night automatically. However, it never switches back. Has this worked for anyone?

I have the Q. Thanks!

Hi, this feature is not available in current version of the DontForget. It is mainly designed to change to e.g. some profile when the DF is deactivated in preset time, so you are not disturbed during the night. You have to manually switch back to e.g. Normal profile or switch the Flight-mode off etc.
DontForget is mainly designed to remind you about missed events but this feature(s) are planned for future version(s).

OK, thanks for the update. So the end time in that box doesn't do anything?

Not to take the thread off topic, but does anyone know of a program that lets you switch profiles at specific times? Thanks!

OK, thanks for the update. So the end time in that box doesn't do anything? Not really. When the end time is reached DF is re-activated but no action (like swithing profile) is connected with that.

AutoFlight.

phoneAlarm and CityTime Alarms v2 will also do it.

Thanks, I also found Profile Switcher, which is nice and cheap. I just need to decide if I need the extra functionality of phoneAlarm.

DontForget 2.10 Beta 1 released
• support for voicemails
• a possibility to force the vibration on reminders. Switching this option ON, vibration is provided regardless of currently selected profile (vibrates always on reminders).

More detailed information and download you can find HERE ! (http://blog.softimage.cz/?page_id=83)

http://blog.softimage.cz/wp-content/pictures/df210en.gif

This time no much bug-fixes but a few new features was added – as many times required.
This version adds new some possibilities to set some actions on DF re-activation.
It means you can assign e.g. the profile to be set when the DF is back from deactivated state – see picture.

Thanks for adding this functionality - now I don't have to have both installed! Great application!

Any chance you could add the option to monitor Voice Notes? When I'm driving I tend to use voice notes to remind myself to enter Tasks later, at which point I delete the voice note. However, sometimes I forget that I recorded one. It would be great to be able add the total number of Voice Notes to the list of reminders. Thanks!

Voice Minder allows you to take notes and emails them to yourself. So they're in your inbox and harder to forget about them. ;)

I suppose any of the things that Don't Forget keeps track of could be handled through manual reminders. But, since he's built the framework, why not take advantage of it!

As for Voice emails, I don't use my inbox to manage my tasks, so that isn't quite what I'm looking for.

Thanks, though!
