.gsm audio format player anywhere?

The internet-based fax software companies also allow voicemails to be received as attachments in email, in a ".gsm" audio format.
Does anyone know how to play these? I have tried association with WMplayer but it does not recognize the file format.
Is there some software that can do this?

People have had success with TCPMP for Vonage voicemail audio files, though they don't use the gsm extension.

Please try TCPMP and report back so I can add this information to the Media Chart at www.feederreader.com/mediachart.html

Also it would help if you mention specifically the service you use.

I use the free fax service from j2.com, which creates voicemails in the .gsm format.

They play through their proprietary JFAX communicator and in its absence, through QuickTime.
