Seriously, what's the deal? Plus they took that hawt Hermes-style keyboard and gave it the MDA-style oval keys, not our idea of a nice changeup."</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Jerry-utstarcom_smt5800.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Pink Star Treks aside, if there was ever a time for fashion police in the Smartphone world this might be it. If Verizon requested this look they should be in jail for it. How could they (or whoever is responsible) make something that <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13048">started out looking so good</a> and turn it into a mess? I can't think of another word, mess, is pretty much it. Let us hope this is either a joke or a big mistake that will be fixed before we wake up.

Er... they write "smartphone" but it's actually a Pocket PC. Check out the Today screen.

Look on the bright side. At least it has 96 Mb RAM :-)

i agree that it does not look nice, but its not that bad either.. ppl criticized the excalibur soo much when they first saw the initial pictures but then in real life it looks way better than what we thought, so just give it a chance

So the GSM version will be better looking and will have the next version of Windows Mobile, and the Verizon version will be green - maybe it is green with envy.

If this has decent one-handed navigation, it's going to be hard not to dump the Q for it.
