Administrators can use Bitfone's software to send firmware updates over the air to individual devices, for example, rather than having to track down all those users to install a new software update."</i><br /><br />I like the idea that companies are waking up to the importance of this. Making it easier for the enterprise to control the Smartphones and Pocket PC's (I don't really care about the Blackberrys and Palms), will encourage them to deploy such devices. Of course that translates to more new devices for us (excluding pink ones). Yes, even with the avalanche of new devices out there the last couple months, I want more!

So, Motorola buys Good and now HP buys Bitfone. Seems like the big hardware companies are waking up to the idea that there's more to this than just offering devices. Kind of like the i-mate approach.
