Nice that this came out for the smartphone...

Everything is great, until you exit the program and all active timers zero out. A major oversight on an otherwise excellent timer program.

Another I've used, CityTime Alarms, is more of an alarm clock program. It does also have multiple timer capabilities and while not quite as slick as TimeKeeper, they continue to 'count' if you exit the program, and remain active even if you reboot the device.

Why is it that when I click on the affiliate store link viewing this site on my PC, I go to the actual product. But when I click on the link on my Dash I go to the main storefront? For the life of me I have searched cevery category on the main storefront on my Dash and cannot find this product listed! Am I an idiot?

Chaznet,

That's certainly an excellent solution; one that unfortunately not posed to us, but would make an excellent addition for version 2.1.

After reviewing various implementation possibilities here, it would probably be best to prompt the user (when exiting) whether to continue counting. Would that work under your usage patterns?

bshpmark,

That's strange. Have you tried searching for Conduits?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It seems to be a bug - we'll get it fixed up shortly. Sorry about that.

Jason: Add an alarm clock feature to TimeKeeper and you've got a great addition to a really nice product!

Personally, I don't need a prompt -- and would be concerned that should for some reason I reset the device, and not received a prompt, that the timers had been reset. Seems to me a timer should stay on until the user does something to stop it, or the timer has completed it's countdown.

Instead of a prompt, how about adding an alarm clock? That, with stay-on-timers, would make TimeKeeper a must-have :)

Just installed the new beta version -- timers now remain persistent through program exit or device reboots. For me, this puts TimeKeeper in the 'must have' category of smartphone software. A bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it you'll realize there isn't a better timer product available...

Very slick... add an alarm clock and TimeKeeper would have no competition.
