I tried a few but could not find anyone that supports full screen on QVGA. There are some texas hold'ems but they are not really fun, mostly repetitive and the cpu is either too dumb or too lucky....
Just wanted to see what poker game you are playing on your smartphone?
Thanks.

There is a real lack of good Poker games. I have one of the Texas Hold em games. It's not my favorite version of poker as I am a 5 card draw man. However with the silly television poker games all being Texas Hold em I doubt I will find much else out there. Maybe someone has found a good game and will post here.

I know.. I am fed up with texas hold em stealing the scene.. It is not real poker, people  anyway, it is fun to play, but I rather play regular poker but it might be difficult on a smartphone with a weird cpu..

I had a video poker game that was 5 card draw (like a vegas slot) but it wasn't very good either.
I agree with you about the TV shows. Those people are cartoon characters.

So, that's it, nobody really plays poker on their phone?

I keep hunting for a good game. I'll do a front page post if I find something. :)

Cool. :) It's Poker time.
Oh and it's not only poker, there is a lack of QVGA games out there.
I tried to compile them in a list so many times, but ended up stopping because some of them were advertised as QVGA compatible, but actually still run at smaller screen with black bars around them. phew!

You guys don't like All-In (http://www.birdsoft.biz/holdemsp.htm)? We just released a new version that now has Career mode on QVGA Smartphones!! And our AI is pretty challenging for most....
Yes, it is Texas Hold'Em! But we do plan on giving you more of what you are looking for in the near future... ;)

Yep, if you look closely in the upper right it says "developed by Birdsoft".
And for some reason they havent put any QVGA screenshots up for it, and I believe still have version 2.5 for download instead of the release from last Friday. It will be coming...

I see.
I have $50 from Astraware, from christmas. I am planning to spend it on games for my SDA.
I tried yours but I found that sometimes it goes too fast, it might be the settings, but otherwise it looks good.

When I was playing Poker on my device, I found the hands would clean out too fast for me to see who had what and who won what. But I'm not a big poker player anyway.

Ill be sure to put a speed setting in there!!!
At the end of the hand it shows you the cards until you press deal, so you should be able to determine who wins quite easily... and at the end of the game you can choose "last hand" to see what happened...

The best poker game IMO is Multiplayer Championship Poker - Texas Hold'em (Smartphone), from RealDice. It has good graphic and you can have a lot of fun playing their tournaments and ring games. I play it daily on my Samsung i320 (landscape QVGA). Although the cpu isnt that smart.
You can use it as a 3 days trial. Give it a try. For me it's the best.

Although the cpu isnt that smart.
This is the MAIN thing we strive to not hear about our product!
It can be good for your ego to play poor AI, but really Ive never found it that fun otherwise... and playing play money online is a lot like playing a poor AI, they both make a beginner fit in, but dont improve your game that much...
