Blackjack Cases

I know there are some of the generic slip cases that work, but they are not for me. Anyone have any word from the big custom players?

I emailed Vaja and they told they "are not planning on supporting the device". HUH? In the past when I have requested information about a new device they responded with "we are looking at supporting", "our designers are working on it", etc.

I emailed them as well and was really disappointed at their lack of support for this device. They have some really nice stuff and this is a very popular phone. I guess they're still wating to see how big the market for this phone really is.

Aaron,
For the time being we have not determined whether a case for this device will be developed or not.
In case it is developed we will contact you via email to let you know of such release.
We appreciate your interest in our products. Thanks!

They replied to my email within minutes. I'm OK with this... if they see enough market penetration for this phone, I'm sure they'll make something for it.

BTW I just got mine yesterday. So far it's awesome. The only issues I have are the keyboard is crowded and the labels on the buttons are hard to sort. I think in a few days it'll be second nature.

If enough people send email, that probably increases the chance we'll have a high quality case for the Blackjack.

Keep in mind that it takes a little bit for new accessories to come out for new handsets. Accessory makers usually do not get advanced handsets and have to wait for the device to hit store shelves before they can make accessories for it.

Now the good news is, a lot of the accessories for the Motorola Q will fit the Samsung Blackjack such as the premium leather wallets and pouches. :)

I like cases, I don't like the bulk, but sometimes it's nice to have something to slide the device into and offer a little protection.

The only trouble with holders, like the one shown on the last post, is they just are inviting you to harpoon your phone on a desk or table corner.

looks good to me. Has anyone tried it? I only looked on eBay becuase the images didnt load properly on the pdair site. I wouldn't recommend buying something from HongKong over eBay ;)
