This is your chance to get an extended battery that gives your Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607 extra capacity to hold charge. This means that your phone's battery will last longer and you dont have to worry about charging your phone all the time. The new Samsung BlackJack SGH-I607 - 1800mAh OEM Extended Battery will works perfectly with your existing Travel Charger (Wall Plug-in Charger) and your Cell Phone Car Charger."</i><br /><br />A sure sign the the included battery doesn't have enough power to turn a hamster wheel - You can now pickup an extended battery for your new Samsung i607 Smartphone. It looks like the extended battery has a much larger capacity, so you should be much better off. 8)

It doen't say whether it's the same size or if it is thicker. Anyone seen a pic of this bad boy on the phone?

This was in the discription so I would say it's a little larger.

"It may also work well with your existing leather Case (in most cases, your leather case requires a period of stretching and conforming)."

Wonder if it is larger, will it come with a different battey cover? (Maybe one that is easier to remove!)

I'm pretty sure it needs a cover but not sure if its going to be included. I sent them an email since there was no answer on their phone support.

Let us know what they say!

I'm a bit surprised Samsung didn't include this with the phone instead of another standard battery. The old i600 came with a standard and extended battery in the box!

What size was the 600's X battery? Was a different battery cover needed?

Sorry I don't remember the size, power wise. The batteries formed the back of the phone itself so no separate cover was needed.

Color me suspicious, but I wonder if that site is trying to sell the i600 battery to BJ owners?!

Battery does not come with a cover. I can't believe they would not state that in their advertisements.

They stated that they do not know if they will be getting covers in or not.

The vendor was good about it the issue.. They will take the battery back with no re-stocking fee but I am out the cost of return shipping.

I may hold on to it and wait for a cover from other vendor - gotta think they will be out soon.

How much weight/size does it add? As thick as the lens hump?

So it is larger in size then, and there's no way the existing cover will work?

No there is no spare room there at all.

I just called to check on the status of the battery I ordered. They said they were on back-order and will ship on the 7th of December. They will also be including the expanded battery cover.
