<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3452' target='_blank'>http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3452</a><br /><br /></div><i>"Is this the rumored and long awaited Motorola Q Pro, the UMTS/3G version of today's Motorola Q? Hungarian website Mobilemag.hu has published infos and photos of a so far unseen Motorola Q code named "Moto Q Norman". The Norman has a brand new black design (but still featuring the QWERTY thumb keyboard, for sure) and the keys seems to be bigger and flatter now. More shortcut keys can be found at the bottom of the keyboard, including shortcuts to media player, camera, calendar, contact list and volume control."</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Jerry-Qpro.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Here it is (drum roll please), The next Q killer! This is probably in fact the Q Pro we posted about earlier. Does the design look familiar to you? From the looks of this and I like the looks, things are heating up. The Blackberry has nowhere to hide now. Kris Kumar pointed out something interesting to me, this looks thicker than the current Q and perhaps has a larger battery. All you Dash lovers; is the honeymoon over?

Well, if this thing is a gsm phone and includes 3G and wifi - lookout! It's a hot little number. I'm still not through loving my Dash and I'm happy with it but this thing could really heat things up!

if they keep creating QWERTY Smartphones, I'll never be able to decide which one to buy :(

This one doesn't have a scroll wheel, though - it appears to be a slider switch. But I applaud this one anyway, as I prefer GSM over CDMA and the CDMA-ness of the original Q was my biggest beef with it.

This is what I like in what I have seen so far:
- the keyboard, flat key...much better design than the rounded ones
- more shortcut keys on the keyboard - contact, calendar, music, camera
- they have added the back key to the keyboard
- possibly bigger battery, because it seems thicker
What I dont like:
- the USB connector seems a new proprietary one. They could have easily put the regular miniUSB.

Hrm... I'm not sure what I think just yet. It's pretty nice, but I still think I would rather have my i320. It would have to be quad band GSM with WiFi and a real battery life.

It's got a Vodafone logo on the back so it must be GSM/UMTS and heading for Europe! :)

I think Cingular will have a quad band version of this and it might even have WiFi. Not that I care if it has WiFi.
