Expansys (or Mobile Planet as it likes to be called now) has a handy little converter that will toggle the ExtUSB port to a more standard 3.5mm plug for use with your headphones. It doesn't support a microphone, so you'll have to remove it to talk on the phone. It's priced at $16.95, which seems a little expensive to me, but it's not like there's much in the way of choice. :(<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20061031-ExtUSBadapter.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/>

Does anyone know whether this adapter will work with the Cingular 3125?

Nope. The 3125 has a thinner, flatter USB connector. The ExtUSB is almost like the regular miniUSB connector.

Is it? Freak that's annoying as hell. I'm really starting to like the fact that I'm not using an HTC device anymore.

Tell me about it.

I have the 2125, it has regular miniUSB.
My wife uses the 3125, it has the flatUSB.
I now have the Dash, which uses the regular miniUSB for sync but has the ExtUSB for audio.

Anyone know if there is an adaptor that changes the USB that is on the 3125 to a more normal mini-usb?
