I expect that this device (like so many other Think Outside products) will provide years of perfect service. However there is just one little problem. Now there are two perfect solutions for text entry with your Bluetooth devices; the Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard and the Stowaway Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard. The problem you will have is deciding which one to use."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/augusto-20061029-thinkoutside.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />Experience Mobility has reviewed the iGo Think Outside Stowaway Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard complete with images of the devices mirror like exterior. At one point in time, I owned a Think Outside Bluetooth keyboard and while it seemed like a fantastic idea, I found myself constantly annoyed with the amount of time it took to set it up for use with my phone. It wasn't all bad though, I was quite impressed with the how great the battery life was on my keyboard. :)

These things always seemed to me to erase every advantage of having a Smartphone or Pocket PC.

I've got one of the older ones, and I used it all the time when I was commuting. It was great for typing long messages on the train or waiting in the airport. But Now that I have a thumboard on my device, I don't see the need for these anymore.

I have a Stowaway BT keyboard and I love it. I agree that if I had a thumb board I probably would only use it for long messages. Since I always have BT "on" on my SDA, I just open the keyboard and start typing.

I like my stowaway keyboard combined with One Note Mobile for taking notes in environments where the laptop would be too obtrusive. Of course, the "desktop replacement" laptop provided by work (15"/8lb/etc) is a bit of a beast.
One particular instance is taking notes while playing a pen & paper RPG. With the laptop setup, it feels like it is always in the way. With the phone sitting on the keyboard, I can still hammer out some quick notes without feeling disconnected from the rest of the table.
Another time I use it is when I would be too distracted in a meeting having all the capabilities of my laptop, I can just take notes on the phone.

That is what I found annoying. Plus you never have it with you when you really need it.

or the response time was too lagged to make it worth using everytime you are in a meeting. i eventually just went back to using the voice recorder and nodding off. ah, good times ;)
