We've always been told not to look a gift horse in the mouth (whatever that means) so we're going to keep our mouths shut and just thank the good folks at T-Mobile for seeing fit to launch HTC's Q-munching Excalibur at all. Keep reading for a transcript of their "Selling Aid" cheat sheet for the Dash -- something tells us it'll pretty much sell itself, but kudos to T-Mob for making sure their peeps are properly informed!</i>"<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/augusto-20060927-tmobile.dash.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />I was really excited for the HTC Excalibur/T-Mobile Dash but the recent lackluster feedback has me thinking twice about picking one up. I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing me say it, but I don't think I could have handled the right handed JOGGR functions. I wish all of the handset manufacturers would make a couple left handed devices. We left handed individuals are starting to feel left out!

That's just around the corner! Awesome. 8) It has a beautiful screen, a great predictive type, quad band and wifi. You can't ask for much more.

None of these things should be "handed". They should be symmetrical.

i have been using one for the last 3 weeks and i love it. i actually like using the joggr when surfing the net or navigating through emails, but i find that when i use the phone i keep turning the volume down because of the jogger, so i have kept it off for the last 10 days and really dont miss it.

I was so excited when the Excalibur came out... What a great device... But I was always torn with the issue of applications.

Then came the HP iPAQ HW6940 and my 'issue' was resolved. Now I can run the applications I want and not feel like 'needing' more.

The Excalibur is awesome. Everything about it... I just wish they had a Pocket PC version...

No option to disable the joggr during calls, or a setting to disable control of the volume?

There's been talk and about those for a while. I imagine they should show up at some point in the near future. We know that Micosoft has been working on it.

Check out some of the comparision pictures that I posted the other day. It helps to give you a good idea of the size. Basically, it's the size of the old iPAQ 1910 device.

i was speaking with a buddy of mine who's a T-Mobile corp rep and he said the pricing is supposed to be announced on 10/11 and the device will be available on 10/16. T-Mo CSR told me the same thing...
