San Francisco 94105 available. Free shipping. Wonder if I get this to $0 with the customer satisfaction/long term customer discounts they give.

I'm holding out for a qwerty phone I think. As much as I love flip phones my current job does a lot of text messaging and I hate T9.

01720? That's not Boston!

But, it is available online in Boston (02110).
I checked some local stores, and they expect it next week. :)

Mine should be waiting for me to get home.... 8)

Available in 94566 in the SF Bay Area. I ordered one Wed night and it is scheduled to arrive on Monday. I might not keep it because I was holding out for the 8525 (HTC TyTN) which will be 3G with WiFi....

There is a story on Engadget about this device being the second coming of humpy because Cingular opted to include a larger battery. http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/09/13/cingular-3125-puts-on-some-weight/

Believe it or not, I think I'm going to pass on this phone. I'll go look at one when it hits the stores before I decide. Maybe it will grab me if I see one.

that is exactly my thought too. I like aspects at differnt times of each of the differnt style of SP these days. I like a basic candybar for use, but like the flip when that needs to close and be small. then, there's the Qwerty of HTC, or better yet, the samsung (tho i want WIFI) coming hopefully soon. This REQUIRES I actually see, hold, and use the phone to decide. aaagghhh. I HATE waiting........

Just picked up one today at my local corp store. Went by there yesterday and they had them, but the rep didn't know it because they were not unpacked.

BIG DEAL: The 3125 keypad DOES NOT have the lag and sticking problem that the latest 2125 firmware version has. :D :D :D I'm so mad at that change when I upgraded the 2125, I'm seriously thinking about calling XBM and trying to get them to replace that phone with a 3125!

Does anyone remember the mod to make the volume button a scroll button for ie??? I had my 2125 modded but can't remember where i found it.

I just went over to Cingular and played with the 3125. It seems kind of large, and almost too big when holding it up to talk (I'm used to a tiny slider phone, the Samsung e635). The screen is nice, but there's so much space around the screen that could have been used to make the phone smaller.

I also found that I prefer the Cingular 2125's buttons that stick up, it's easier to type than on the flat buttons of the 3125.

Me = waiting for the HTC S620

Agreed. I just don't have that lovin feelin from this gadget. To me it isn't very attractive nor does it have anything exciting to offer.

Does it have A2DP?

Does it have A2DP?

Actually, I think it might. I'm not 100%. But I thought I recalled something about that from the Mobility Site review.

I walked into the Cingular store. I touched it, I played with it...It grabbed me!

Now I have one in my pocket! I tried to call for help but it was no use! I lost my intervention number!

I like it much better in person than in the pictures.

i almost did the same thing yesterday. it was so smooth and easy to type with and i wanted one so bad but i need the qwerty keypad so im thinking i should hold off.

this is why you need to keep my number on hand jerry, so i can talk you out of impulse buys! ;)

Oh sure, like you would have tried to talk me out of it. I even got a 1GB microSD card. I suppose you would have talked me out of that too!

It's too late for me, but you can still save yourself. :drinking:

Jerry, what are you thoughts on it compared to your 2125, overall??
i need to find something to upgrade to. My 5600 is getting 'very' annoying when it comes to signal strength and missing calls.

You didn't get the 2GB card? It's like having an iPod Nano in my cellphone! :evilbat:

Overall I like the 3125 better. However I have always prefered a clam shell phone. The only thing that irritates me so far is the non standard USB connector.
