However, while the HTC JOGGR concept is new for HTC, the overall idea isn't that new anymore since it is based on the touchpad idea, which is used in most Notebooks today which also replaced the trackball some years ago."</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Jerry-o2_xda_cosmo9_small.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Personally I can't stand these touchy feely things. My Sony laptop has one of them and I only use it in an emergency. Usually it is deactivated and I use a mouse. My old HP4700 had a "touchpad" which always drove me nuts and I never used it. I like things that click and move in response to my inputs. OK rant over. Fans of these things can get a closer look at HTC's JOGGR in this article.

Oh, cool. So it's not just a scroll wheel. You can have it control the volume if you don't really care about scrolling. Good idea. Man, I like this phone already. 8)

I don't know about you guys but I will give up the Joggr for a freakin headphone jack. That way I can use it when I am Joggn.

Does anyone know if there is any adapter around that can allow someone to use 'real' headphones through the miniusb

This one is my BIGGEST gripe. Previously, I loved HTC for their use of the industry standard min-D USB and 2.5mm; no more proprietary connectors. I guess they've seen the "greedy profit" light for accessories. Just like continuing to downsize memory (is there anything smaller than "transflash" so we can change again with the next generation?)
